Brazos Pipe & Steel Fabricators, Inc., (BP&S) was established in 1971 to provide comprehensive fabricating and welding services to a rapidly expanding Gulf Coast industrial complex. Since inception, BP&S has adhered to the philosophy of delivering a finished product that exceeds our customer's expectations. The determination to adhere to this goal has brought world-wide recognition to our name and products.
The BP&S facility encompasses a 12.75-acre site in Freeport, Texas, about 50 miles south of Houston. The complex has one main fabrication shop with over 30,300 square feet of space under one roof. In addition, there are three satellite shops to perform various functions including pipe bending, tube welding, and specialty fabrication, as well as having on-site facilities for painting, chemical cleaning, refractory installation, and heat treating.
From the beginning, the company's goal has been to offer its clients quality, up-to-date specialty skills required in pipe and steel fabrication. Welding is no exception. BP&S's capabilities cover the complete range of welding services, performed on carbon steel and all grades of alloys. BP&S has an on-site radiographic facility and employs a level III inspector to compliment their quality assurance program and to insure only the highest caliber of welds.
Some of the services provided by BP&S include complete furnace fabrication, modularization of convection and radiant assemblies, pipe bending and the construction of pressure vessels and skid mounted units. BP&S is certified under ASME Code to perform work such as "S" stamped Power Boilers, "U" stamped Pressure Vessels, "PP" stamped Power Piping, "A" stamped Assemblies and "R" stamped National Board repairs and/or alterations.
